     Obituary: Mrs. Louisa Dumont Passes Away at 70: Funeral Services Held Tuesday Morning at St. Martin Church at Yorkville, IN. Mrs. Louisa Dumont, widow of Balser Dumont, died at 3:30p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mazie Miller, on Third St., Lawrenceburg, at the age of 79 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Martin Church, Yorkville, by her pastor, Rev. Frank Sonderman. Burial was in St. Martin Cemetery, Jos. A. Andres of Dover in charge of the funeral arrangements. Besides Mrs. Miller she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Gerttrude Schott, Lawrenceburg and Mrs. Margie Mead, Newport, Ky., and two sons, Edwin J. and Oliver Dumont, both of Norwood, O., nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Aust and Theodora Dumont, preceded their mother in death. Mrs. Dumont was born at Weisburg, Oct 24, 1863, the daughter of Johnson and Catherine Parkerson Runnells. She was the last of her family. Her marriage to Balser Dumont took place at New Alsace, Nov. 27 1883. Following her marriage she went to Yorkville to live. She was a member of St. Martin Church and the Married Ladies Society. She had been failing in health for serveral years but her last illness was of a week's duration. Her husband died 11 years ago.12

He died at his home in Logan township, Jan. 27, 1923, aged 61 years, 28 days. At the age of fourteen he came to live with his grandparents, George and Catherine Runnels, where he has since lived on the same farm till he was called by Him who knew best. He leaves to mourn their loss two sisters, Mrs. Balser Dumont and Mrs. Dibble, a host of relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a good neighbour, of whom there was no better; he was always ready to lend a helping hand.1 He made a will leaving bequests to Ida Jane Runnels leaving everything to his aunt.11
