He came to Uniontown, Kansas with his parents in 1869. He was united in marriage to Sarah Lutitia Hamilton October 7, 1873, who departed from this life December 7, 1925. To this union were born, four girls and five boys, two boys dying in infancy. Besides seven children, he has 26 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two sisters. The children are Armine Yeager, Eads, Colorado; Lettie Stauffer, Olsburg, Kansas; Ed Yeager, Waverly, Kansas; Elsie Robinson, Onaga, Kansas, Ella and Clarence of Lebo, Kansas; and Clara Henderson, Libby, Montana.
