She came to Kansas in 1867 with her parents and has made her home in Lebo since 1918. She was united in marriage to John W. Yeager, October 7, 1873 at Uniontown, Kansas. To this union was born nine children, five boys and four girls, two boys dying in infancy. Besides a host of friends she leaves to mourn her loss a husband, seven children, one sister, three brothers, 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The children are Armine Yeager, Eads, Colorado; Lettie Stauffer, Olsburg; Edd Yeager, Waverly; Elsie Robinson, Onaga, Kansas; Clarence Yeager, Carrell, Iowa; Ella Yeager, Lebo; and Clara Henderson, Geraldine, Montana. Services were from the Methodist Church. The remains were taken to Lincoln cemetery and tenderly laid to rest. (Lebo Enterprise, Thurs. Dec. 10, 1925, pg.1.)1
