     Obituary: Gleason Butzow, 90, of St Joseph died at 7:13 a.m. Saturday (October 22, 2005) at home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 East Grand St., St Joseph. The Rev. Mark Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Masonic rites accorded at 7 p.m. Mr. Butzow was born April 4, 1915, in St Joseph, a son of Edward and Zora Rudisill Butzow. He married Eleanor Phillips on April 25, 1936. She died June 27, 2000. He later married Mary B. Rudisill on Sept. 28, 2002. She survives. Survivors also include a son, Drew Butzow of St Joseph; a daughter, Linda Butzow of Madison, Wis; four grandchilden; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Mr, Butzow farmed in the St Joseph area and built and remodeled homes. He founded Flex-in-Gate Corporation in 1956 and sold it in 1972. He owned race and show horses for many years. He attended St Joseph United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to St Joseph Fire and Rescue or Carle Hospice.1
