     Olga Irene Tucker was born on 1 August 1922 in Bellingham, Massachusetts, USA.1 She married John Walter Burness, son of Robert Joseph Burness and Eva Lenora Day, in 1938 in Bellingham, Massachusetts, USA.2,3 She died on 7 April 2004 in Oberlin, Ohio, USA, at age 81.1

     Obituary: OBERLIN -- Olga Irene Duesenberry, 81, of Oberlin, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Welcome Nursing home, Oberlin. She was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Bellingham, Mass., and moved to Lorain in 1954. She moved from Lorain to Oberlin 18 months ago. Ms. Duesenberry was employed for 20 years as a custodian at Admiral King High School, Lorain, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Amherst, where she was active in the senior adult ministry, past president and member of the Missionary Society, past superintendent of the Sunday school and past treasurer. She was an organizer, member and first president of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees in Lorain. She was a collector of shoes. Survivors include her daughters Mary Ellen Burness of Lorain and Ruth A. Frye of Elyria; sons David J. Burness of Milford, Mass., Walter E. Burness of Bartlett, Tenn. and John R. Duesenberry of Lorain; brother, Melvin W. Tucker of Phoenix, Ariz; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons Lloyd C. Burness in 1952 and Richard L. Duesenberry in 1955; brother, Richard L. Tucker, in 1953; and her parents, Olga Edith (nee Green) and Melvin Warner Tucker. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 W. Erie Ave., Lorain. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Henry, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
