     Obituary: Della "Pat" Sims passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in the Pleasant Valley Health Care Center in Muskogee at the age of 91 years. She was born May 10, 1918 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri to George Silas and Minnie (Goslin) Johnson. She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa in 1937 and was of the Catholic Faith. Pat married William "Bill" M. R. Sims October 31, 1937 in Ponca City, Oklahoma who preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Larry Sims and wife, Sandy of Tulsa and Keith Sims and wife, Kathy of Sand Springs; five grandhildren, Sandy Schweikhard, Barry Sims, Jerry Sims, Gary Sims and Keith Sims, II; two great grandchildren, Lindsey Sims and Tyler Sims and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in Elmwood Cemetery with Father Yew officiating. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home, Wagoner.2
