(Doc) Hurley, nearly 94, 1686 State Line Rd., Reily, who died Thursday morning, Feb. 7, in McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Marshall-Smith Funeral Home. Rev. Robert K. Foster, chaplain of Miami University, Rev. W. W. Ridenour, pastor of the Reily Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was in Springdale Cemetery, Reily. Born in Bright, Ind., Feb. 12, 1886, she was the daughter of Mark and Susie Prudden Johnson. She attended school in Bright. She married Walter C. Hurley in 1908 in Bright, Ind. They lived most of their married life in Peoria, Ind., where they operated the Peoria Grain Co. before Mr. Hurley's death in 1954. Mrs. Hurley was a member of the Reily Presbyterian Church, the Woman's Society of the church, was a 50-year member of Oxford Chapter 225, Order of the Eastern Star and was a 50-year member of Twin Forks Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Brookville, Ind. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Nople Weber, Reily; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Estal E. Hurley May 19, 1965. The family suggests those who desire make contributions to the Reily Presbyterian Church.7
